$20 per workshop or $35 for two

10:00 – 11:30 Simple, Smooth & Steady (Beginner/Novice)

Pick up good habits, smooth out your playing and become a better strummer. We’ll practice on some good toe-tapping mountain tunes in DAD like Groundhog, Sandy Boys and more.

1:00 – 2:30 Fiddle Tunes & Techniques (Adv. Beginner/Intermediate)

Learn the fun techniques of hammer-ons, pull-offs and slides that can make your fiddle tunes dance. We’ll play some WV tunes and a reel or jig to round it out. DAD tuning, and please bring a capo.

3:00 – 4:30 Playing in ¾ Time, Solos and Duets (Intermediate+)

Add grace and expression to waltzes and Celtic airs by learning how to strum smoothly and flatpick or fingerpick single notes. Then we’ll try some harmony parts you can share with your friends. DAD tuning, and please bring a capo.
